I am so glad you have decided to embark on this journey of growth through therapy. I’m excited to go on this journey with you, not only to cheer for you but also to challenge you. I have experienced my own unique set of challenges and stressors and have been able to overcome those significant events with my own set of cheerleaders and challengers. My goal is to help you get through whatever your going through and help you be successful in this present moment but also in the future.
I have worked with a variety of people from all walks of life and people who have experienced challenges both big and small. My goal is to focus on you because you are the master of your life and experiences. I want to walk beside you and help take some of your mental load, while offering you tools to improve your life. You will be in control of your treatment and goals we create will be done together to make sure that our time together is worth your time.
I have my master’s degree from Capella University and am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Oregon. I approach counseling with a client centered holistic approach, while using a variety of therapeutic approaches like Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT). I have a Christianity based background, and can offer faith-based counseling if you would like that implemented into sessions.
In case you would like to hear more about me, I am from Oregon and continue to be an Oregon native. I enjoy living in the Pacific Northwest with my family and our two mini-Australian shepherds. In my free time you will find me reading a good book or catching up on my favorite TV shows. I am a huge fan of the TV show The Office, which probably says a lot about my sense of humor.
I am excited to join you on your counseling journey and looking forward to helping you grow and live a life that is more fulfilled and less stressful!
