She tailors the meetings to help you access, articulate, and clarify attainable goals giving you ownership of your life in timetables that are within your own life capabilities providing lasting outcomes. She comes from a “systems” background giving her insight into problem-resolution/goal-setting when working with the larger systems that we are all a part of, such as community, work, school, church, family, blended/mixed cultures, gender, etc.
Amanda Howard is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Supervisor and Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor. Amanda completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management with a minor in International Studies at The University of Texas – San Antonio and her Master’s Degree in Psychology- Marriage and Family Therapy at Our Lady of the Lake University - Houston. She has extensive experience collaborating with people from all walks of life, working with children age two and half through adults.

I was adopted when I was ten days old into a biracial family. I have worked with multiracial individuals, couples and families. I have experienced racism, genderism, ageism, separation, divorce and many other world struggles yet due to my faith and love of God and His works am able to stay filled with love and enthusiasm for life.
