Brenda Gomez Larios

Clinical Social Worker Associate (CSWA)

I am a bilingual Latina therapist with a Master of Social Work and experience providing mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults. Throughout my career, I have supported individuals and families through grief, anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, family concerns, life transitions, and periods of crisis. My professional experience includes crisis work, case management, working with adolescents involved in the juvenile justice system, and providing ongoing therapy to children, teens, and adults. I provide services under the clinical supervision of Ashley Oakes, LCSW (L11990) and Nahomie Guillaume, LMFT (T1492).

I believe therapy should be a space where you can feel comfortable being yourself, feel heard, and know that you do not have to navigate difficult moments alone. Sometimes life can feel overwhelming, and having someone beside you can make it easier to slow down, understand what you are experiencing, and figure out where you want to go next. I want my clients to feel supported while also having ownership over their own journey. Together, we can explore what matters to you, identify your goals, and work toward creating a life that feels meaningful to you.

My therapeutic approach is flexible and centered around meeting clients where they are. I draw from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, play therapy with children, and somatic approaches. I work collaboratively with clients to develop practical tools for managing emotions, understanding patterns, navigating challenges, and building confidence in themselves.

I have a particular interest in supporting clients experiencing grief and loss, anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, life transitions, and those who are seeking personal growth or a greater sense of purpose and meaning.

I am fluent in English and Spanish and value providing culturally responsive and inclusive care. Outside of my work, I enjoy spending time with my family, being a mom, going to the gym, and creating art.
