Who We Serve

At Guillaume Counseling, we recognize that mental health is influenced by our relationships, identities, cultures, communities, and life experiences. We provide inclusive and culturally responsive care for individuals, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds and at different stages of life.

Welcoming atmosphere at Guillaume Counseling

Children & Adolescents

We provide therapy for children and adolescents experiencing emotional, behavioral, relational, family, school, and life-transition concerns. When appropriate, parents and caregivers may be incorporated into treatment to support the child or adolescent and their treatment goals.

Adults

We work with adults across the lifespan who are experiencing concerns related to mental health, relationships, family, work, identity, grief and loss, stress, life transitions, and other challenges affecting emotional well-being and daily functioning.

Couples & Families

We work with couples and families experiencing communication difficulties, relationship conflict, changes in family relationships, parenting concerns, intimacy and connection concerns, separation, and other significant life or relationship transitions.

Couples therapy is private pay only. Family therapy may be covered by insurance when medically necessary and part of an identified client's mental health treatment, subject to the client's insurance benefits.

Pregnancy, Postpartum & Parenthood

We provide support for individuals and families navigating pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, parenthood, fertility and reproductive experiences, changes in identity and relationships, and the emotional challenges that can accompany becoming or being a parent.

Culturally Diverse Communities

We welcome clients from diverse racial, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds. We recognize that culture, family, community, discrimination, systemic factors, and lived experiences can influence mental health and well-being, and we strive to provide care that respects each client's individual experiences and needs.

Immigrant & Multicultural Individuals and Families

We provide support for immigrants and multicultural individuals and families navigating experiences such as immigration, cultural adjustment, intergenerational differences, family expectations, identity, belonging, and balancing multiple cultures and communities.

LGBTQIA+ Communities

We provide affirming mental health care for LGBTQIA+ individuals, couples, and families. Therapy may include support related to mental health, relationships, identity, family concerns, life transitions, and other concerns identified by the client.

Faith & Spirituality

Clients who would like to incorporate faith, spirituality, or religious experiences into therapy are welcome to do so. This may include clients seeking Christian-informed care as well as individuals exploring questions, changes, conflict, or difficult experiences related to faith or religion.

Incorporating faith or spirituality into treatment is based on the client's individual preferences and treatment goals.
