Daniella PAZ Gambia
Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW #125709)
Hi, I’m Daniella Paz Gamboa and I am a board registered bilingual Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW #125709). I provide services under the clinical supervision of Kristi Abbott, LCSW (65194).
As the first-generation daughter of Latin-American immigrants, I bring a unique blend of professional expertise and lived experience to my practice. I am deeply passionate about discussing the intricacies of family dynamics, values, and the cultural traditions that shape our lives. I love learning about all cultural backgrounds and believe that understanding your heritage is a vital part of meeting you exactly where you are today.
My practice is centered on providing a secure, non-judgmental space for adults to navigate the complexities of daily life—whether you are dealing with family tensions, life adjustments/stressors, or processing past trauma. I operate from the core belief that you already possess the answers to your own struggles; my role is to act as a guide and advocate to help you reconnect with that internal strength. To support this journey, I utilize a diverse range of therapeutic specializations tailored to your unique needs, including Solution-Focused, Psychodynamic, Humanistic, Acceptance and Commitment (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior (DBT) therapies.
While therapy involves deep, meaningful work, I also believe in the healing power of human connection. I enjoy incorporating humor into our sessions when appropriate, ensuring that our time together feels authentic and grounded. My professional background is diverse, with extensive experience supporting immigrant families, survivors of domestic and intimate partner violence, aging adults, and those within the forensic mental health system.
To keep myself balanced, I lean into the things that bring me joy: music, movies, and quality time with my loved ones. And, if you’re a fellow animal lover, you can count on me always having a story or two to share about my dogs!
If you are looking for a safe space to begin your journey, I am honored to meet you where you are and look forward to supporting your path toward healing.
