Guillaume Counseling is an outpatient behavioral health clinic specializing in maternal mental health and paternal mental health, serving individuals and families struggling with anxieties and mood disorders, with children ages 0-12. As of 2025, we have expanded our services providing individual and family therapy to children and adolescents. We specialize in mental health and relationship counseling for couples and individuals in the early stages of their pre-marital or marital relationships, with or without children, as well as general relationship problems and functional life issues. We make a distinction between clients struggling with mental health versus mental illness. We provide early intervention and prevention services and mental health treatment to clientele with mild to moderate (Tier I and Tier II) levels of functioning. Services are integrative and blended. We integrate different evidence-based treatment models and our innovative approach, based on the client’s individualized treatment needs, after a thorough assessment.

We utilize primary evidence-based models. This includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief-Therapy, and Strategic-Structural Family Therapy, and the Gottman Method. Christian Counseling and Prayer Therapy are available to those who identify as Christians and is only offered by select therapists. Faith-based counseling is available to all clients who wish to incorporate faith/religion or spirituality in their treatment. Many of our clients identify as atheist, agnostic, or spiritual and non-religious and we consider those views to be a form of faith and spiritual beliefs and value systems, which we also incorporate in the treatment process-providing space for self-exploration within those value systems. Prayer support is available to all clients upon request. Some of our Clinicians identify as secular or non-religious and only provide mainstream counseling without the incorporation of faith or spirituality. Clients are welcome to request who aligned with their own belief system. We aim to continue to hire Clinicians of all faiths and social economic and various ethnic backgrounds to meet the needs of the diverse population that we seek to serve.

We offer a blended approach to therapy, which includes the flexibility of open-ended and structured sessions format. We have a holistic view, meaning we work collaboratively with other professionals and community resources to meet the client’s needs, including care coordination, referral, and linkage. We provide individual counseling, family counseling, couples counseling, group therapy, and workshops for essential life skills.

Our Approach

We strive to be flexible and innovative while utilizing research-based models to meet your individual needs. We use an open-ended format and let your overall presentation and flow guide the session. Modeling and storytelling are integrated parts of our style, and we may share our own or others’ stories to help create deeper understanding. Treatment Track Options

We have two different treatment options:

Medical Model Track

This track is covered by most insurance plans so long as you meet medical necessity, which includes a mental health diagnosis. Under this track, we design a family therapy plan around the family member with a mental health diagnosis. Couple counseling is not covered under this plan.

Personal Growth and Development Track

This track is self-pay only. Under this track, the model is flexible and designed to address any life issues causing distress. A full assessment will take place, and we will formulate a treatment plan. The only requirements for service are the client’s willingness and ability to pay.
