Kiren Ali

Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (R12204)

My name is Kiren Ali. I’m a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate. I provide services under the clinical supervision of Nahomie Guillaume, LMFT (T1492).

I’m passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families better understand themselves and their relationships. I approach therapy from a family systems perspective, recognizing that our relationships, culture, and lived experiences all shape how we think, feel, and connect with others.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and client-centered. I aim to create a space where you feel comfortable, supported, and genuinely understood. Together, we can explore patterns, make sense of what you’re going through, and work toward meaningful and lasting change. I often incorporate mindfulness and somatic awareness into sessions, helping you connect not just with your thoughts, but with your emotional and physical experiences.

I have a special interest in working with self-esteem, life transitions, and relationship or family challenges. I’m especially drawn to supporting individuals navigating multicultural identities, intergenerational family dynamics, and the balance between independence and staying connected to family.

As someone raised in a Pakistani-American household, I understand the complexities of moving between cultural expectations and personal identity. I value culturally responsive care and pay close attention to how family roles, traditions, and values can shape the way we see ourselves. I aim to create a space where all parts of your identity feel welcome and respected, including faith and spirituality when that is meaningful to you.
