Hi! I’m Ash, a Clinical Social Work Associate with over 15 years of experience supporting individuals, families, and communities in healing from trauma. My work is rooted in social justice, mindfulness, and the power of human connection. I help clients navigate challenges with curiosity, imagination, and compassion.
I provide services under the clinical supervision of Ashley Oakes, LCSW (L11990) and Nahomie Guillaume, LMFT (T1492).
I earned my MSW from the University of Chicago in 2011 and have worked across diverse settings, including legal systems, public education, shelters, inpatient treatment centers, and community-based programs.
I worked alongside the nine federally recognized Tribes of Oregon, as well as Indigenous communities across the United States and Central America. I have also spent a year working abroad in Guatemala.
My approach is holistic and multidisciplinary, drawing from psychology, neuroscience, somatic practices, and expressive therapies. I integrate narrative, dialectical behavior, and emotion-focused techniques, along with movement, art, and play, to foster healing and growth.
