Delila (Dee) Donaldson, LCSW (#L7749)

Clinical Supervisor of CSWAs and QMHPs

As an LCSW and clinical supervisor, my main goal is to teach, support and mentor others while they work to achieve their career goals. I have provided clinical supervision to interns and CSWAs in Oregon since 2018. Additionally, I teach Advanced Clinical Skills at Portland State University and enjoy helping others be they can be. Prior to this, I supervised many people as a co-occurring treatment specialist working in Oregon, Arizona, and Colorado. My focus is on helping anyone who identifies as Black, Indigenous, or Peoples of Other Colors or Cultures (BIPOCC), as well as those who have experienced oppression, racism, bias, and prejudice. As I am a culturally driven trauma treatment specialist, and I am an advocate of culturally focused care. I want to learn about other cultures' customs, traditions, history, and specific cultural norms, so that I can help others using tools that fit their lives. In other words, I am a client focused counselor, directed clinician, and supervisor. Having spent a large part of my life living in rural reservations in Oregon, Arizona and New Mexico, I also have a passion to help tribal peoples achieve mental wellness. My background taught me how to integrate culturally specific tools to help others. Because of this, I am able to integrate intertribal treatment approaches such as the Sacred Tree, Medicine Wheel teachings, and the Red Road Approach to help others feel better. I look forward to helping you achieve your goals.
